KOR Canada In the News

The Knights of Rizal Canada Region has been busy lately with successfully completed projects in coordination with their communities in Ontario and Quebec.

First, the unveiling of a life-size monument of Dr. Jose Rizal in the city of Markham, Ontario. The monument was designed by KOR member Sir Mogi Mogado. The plot of land were the monument sits was donated by the City of Markham thru Sir Alex Chiu.

Next, the unveiling of a marker sign for Rizal Park in Brampton thru the motion of Sir Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton and KOR member. The project was a joint effort of the KOR Canada Council and the Brampton Chapter headed by Sir Delfin Palileo.

Lat but not the least, the unveiling of a new bust of Dr. Jose Rizal in a prime portion of Mackenzie Park in Quebec. The project became possible thru the initiative of Sir James Dela Paz, supported by the chapter commanders of Montreal, Mackenzie, Gatineau and West Island in Quebec.
